You realize that Windows 10 is a spyware in itself, right? If you are concerned about privacy then switch to linux (linux mint as its beginner friendly) & use tor for browsing where you don't want to login. And if you want to login to websites then use ungoogled-chromium (github project).

@Gogol is a Software Engineer AFAIK, so i'm sure he uses linux for a lot of things (docker, kubernetes etc) but for personal computing - Windows is best. Just 'cause it has some privacy issues - that's allowed by law, if we really want privacy, better call the representative from your area in government (or help the people who are fighting for it overseas) and push them to get some bills in house that protects your privacy - doesn't mean it's a bad choice of OS for everyone.

I know right? I even use tails if I need to be in private mode. I have a dedicated PC for that. However, for 90% of the use case; I don't care what data microsoft collects from me; as long as they are not stealing my payment info. Even chrome was okay for me until they started automatically logging me in if I opened gmail. That really pissed me off, and I decided to try other browsers. EDGE finally delivered what I was looking for.

Safari is my default browser but not everything works on it. Chrome is so smooth, especially on reddit.

Safari is an awesome browser. Totally agreed. This is why I hate the fact that apple discontinued safari development on windows. Not everyone is on a mac, and apple could have used the huge amount data that it might have gotten through windows safari users.
Go for tor browser bundle if you are a privacy freak. Go for Firefox if you are afraid of browsers tracking you. Go for edge if you want a great looking browser and you don't mind being tracked (which you already are being an windows user). You could also try chromium, if you wanted a chrome like browser without the spyware stuff.

Tried many browser to escape google chrome; vivaldi, brave, opera but none satisfied me.
Switch to Microsoft Edge after the latest update. Oh my word!! The new version is amazon. It supports every chrome extension which made the switch possible for me. Performance-wise and stability, so far so good.

Ah I misunderstood - apologies! So I don't think screenshots will do it justice because I keep everything in separate spaces - I'm still learning and experimenting with best setup, but I currently have spaces set up like this:
Space: Home
- Personal Social Media Stack (Facebook/Twitter/etc.)
- Personal Email Stack (Gmail/Outlook)
- News Stack
Space: Productivity
- Time Tracker
- Todo List/Task Manager
- Notes Web App (i use bundleIQ and Notejoy but any online note service - evernote, etc. would work)
- BrainFM / focus music (I also keep brainfm tabs open in different spaces listed below - will mention why in a moment)
Space: Visual Design
- I have half a dozen visual/graphics tools I use regularly (Glorify, Stencil, ITG.digital, Rocketium, Flixier, etc.) so I keep all of them over and organized by:
- Image Editors/Tools Stack
- Video Editors/Tools Stack
I have an entertainment space where I keep youtube, netflix, amazon, hulu, etc so I can jump over there when taking a break. I also have a space for my software dev support that I jump over to to keep an eye on tickets, emails, chats, etc.
And I have a space per project/client that has them logged into whatever relevant accounts I need (wp admin, social media, email, etc.) so I can pop over and knock out work, jump to my productivity space to log time/track tasks, then pop over to the next space to continue.
Hope that makes sense! They're working on changing Spaces up so that things can persist better when jumping between spaces which will make things much easier (i.e. can have brain.fm playing in the background in the productivity space while working in a project's space). I can capture some screenshots but I think the written overview does more justice. And, like I said, I'm still experimenting as I haven't had it too terribly long - but it becomes more intuitive the more you use it (or it has been for me, at least). If you're like me you'll start to open new tabs and/or apps and realize that they can go into a better space or stack, but it kind of comes naturally the more you use the browser.

I definitely see the value of Spaces for freelancers (e.g one space per client) - but I still haven't found the use for that.
I've got a total of 16 'apps' - I guess it would make sense to divide more into spaces.
Gutted that Spotify doesn't work (yet), but so far this is a great tool. Can't wait to set it up on the office computer with ultrawide monitor - it will be amazing.

Awesome, thanks - I'll keep that in mind!
I juggle several personal projects and a handful of client projects so keeping everything compartmentalized helps with the way I think and work - But I could definitely see spaces playing a smaller role with less projects/one main focus - the stack feature alone should be pretty solid though; I really just like being able to scroll through full windows instead of tiny little tabs.
But as you use it you'll notice if you use your mouse scroll wheel when yourwyour scroll left and right through the windows, and if you double click a windows header it will expand or collapse/resize. Just little polishes like that that you kind of discover as you use it (I'm sure it's documented somewhere but I just kind of dove in lol)
Anyway glad you like it so far, I look forward to watching it grow - very solid start (Spotify issue is definitely lame). And agreed on the wide screen, I use it on a triple monitor setup and it's been fantastic.

It's great to hear that man, yesterday I exactly switched browsers to Brave Browser. I can say that it is much faster than Google Chrome, it takes up less memory and above all, I like the fact that I can donate a little to my favorite creators by simply browsing. I think the time has come for some of us to try other browsers to remove this monopoly from Google.
