Yeah, tell me about it. Yesterday I searched for a bank profile in the US and found five Google Books pages on the top 10, and those pages were not in any way relevant to the search query I entered. It was in page 2 I saw what I was actually looking for. Google is so messed up right now. And that's one of the reasons I believe there's a higher chances of them reverting this update in the near future.
They did it on purpose. They spam the first page with amazon, eBay, aliexpress, and other sites that won't pay for the adword. These businesses won't be affected by google search.
Left with the small companies, which eventually have to pay for Ads.
