It may sound stupid. I need to open a Bitcon account to receive payment and have no clue which provider to use?


Can someone point me in the right direction?

Bitpay or coinbase if you want to be able to pretty easily exchange it into dollars, something more secure probably if you're looking to just hold it.

then software wallet for everything else. Don't use exchanges to store money like binance

I use blockchain dot com and it works like a charm. It is easy to signup, just takes a few minutes and you can opt in or opt out of 2FA.

Coinbase is a good place to go, but from there make sure you transfer your BTC to a personal wallet. Jaxx Liberty is the wallet I use.
