Can't get the Amazon Product API to work in my website

Login your amazon affiliate account and scroll far down in your dashboard and click on "contact us". You will find the "Chat us" box on your right as you scroll this page.

So better check with plugins what version of apis they are using.

Just make sure to connect your Main ID (Principal account). It gave me an error when I didnt and after changing it it worked.

My problem now is that if I try to use a product from a different account7 country it doesn,t alloe me. For example if my main account/API is on US and I try to place a product from canada or UK store the plugi AAWP does not work.

Any of you know a way around this? since my main problem is the language of the website?

ofcourse it won't work because as far as i know the US and UK or any other countries API is different because their account is different..

Hi.. in indian amazon affilaite till today it is not working but i got one working from Australian amazon affilaite.. no clue whats the problem of indian side.. it was fraustrating as hell

Hi! Basically looks like something is wrong with requests sending. Did you see logs? If there are any successful responses globally?

As far as I understood it's like this:

-Amazon limits your requests based on the amount of sales you made THROUGH THE API LINKS. This means that only the sales made with the API links will count.

-All the links that you put before receiving the API won't count to increase your requests (you will still receive commissions for those sales obviously)because there is not your API there.

So the solution should be this:

Create some new links (which will now automatically include the API) and make some sales though those links.

After that, your request limit should automatically increase and you will be able to use the AAWP plugin.

I still haven't tried this method, I'll let you know in the next few days.

oh okie i understood you.. but the thing i didn't understand is .. the Australia affilate API works fine in first try... both i got after 4 sales.. but Indian one still doesn't work.. and also to count your sale from API.. you need to get a click from API .. which I can't because it won't even freaking start.. with your method all i will get is Product links click/conversion

may i ask if i use sitestripe to generate text link, does it count as API generated sales?

You have been told this way as it only way at the minute working.

Sorry, there nothing no one can
do they don't own Amazon.

The member gave you a solution to see sales , when everything working then everything will be ok until then take the advice.

You're going on about Australia working but not India each Amazon stat server serves different countries if one not working not anyone can do sorry.

The member on here shows you that you can continue getting sales and see the info from login into your account, but API wise there issues.
