Made $30 on two articles today

It's based on your pageview average. For instance, you can have 30K page views total, which sounds like a decent amount, but it isn't if it took you 300 articles to get to that number.

Hmm, I see. Well then I have plan of what I need to do next in order to raise my average.

Ok, since I got greedy in that other thread and took my link down, I'll post it here so you guys can have options other than AC.

@mariopits-there are a bunch of books on this site that explain how to use twitter and includes some tips on what works best. some of them proved very useful to me in understanding twitter. like red said, just check out the social media section and they can probably direct you best on where to start.

Edit: Heres a good ebook on blackhat twitter for newbies.

@vicious- I think PLR articles are definitely too broad to be submitted without editing to make them more unique but I use PLR articles to give me ideas. I outsource some of my work but I am still writing a lot of it so i use PLR articles to give me ideas on other things to write about. I may even use a section of the PLR article in my article. I rewrite it of course but if anybody runs out of ideas to write about PLR articles are great to trigger your imagination. I also look around article directories for ideas.

Everything I have learned started with this thread. I would like to thank red helping me make my first dollar on the internet. I just got 3 articles accepted with average pay of $2.75. I know its not much but its something and it can only get better from here. I would like to contribute my success to BHW and red. Thanks red!!!! +rep for this thread.

I just submitted 20 more articles last nite and I've got my fingers crossed for no rejections.

Okay, I did find some twitter e-books and I'll check them out today.

I have a concern, though:

I got upfront offers for 3 articles. So I haven't had one rejected yet but all of them have been low-ball offers (no more than $2.84).

I don't know if it's because I'm not writing what they want or if it has to do with pageviews; I have 7 articles published and thirty something pageviews.

I was going to write some more articles today but now I'm not sure what to do because I don't know what the problem is.

Also I set up the auto tweeting with A.C. but it's not working?

completely bummed atm.

imo, thats a great start. i only average about $2.75 and I feel great. You shouldn't get bummed. You just started and your already near $3 per article. Just take reds advice and keep promoting your articles and try to get your page view high so you can get a higher clout level. with a higher clout level your upfronts start to go up, I think. You can use ways other than twitter to promote your articles. Post on forums that relate to the subject of your articles and add a link to your article. Get creative!

Is this your blog? I find it rather informative. Thanks.

Hey Tchashaw, are the 20 articles you sent PLR articles rewritten by you? If so then I'll be keeping a lookout on your results.....keeping my fingers crossed for you.....and me....and all of BHW because that will mean rewritten articles have hope.

@popmania- 10 articles are rewritten by me and i have one rewriter that wrote 10. I got some of my ideas from PLR articles but I did not rewrite them. I rewrote 3 articles that I found on the internet and the rest were basically unique except that I did use PLR articles as my basis. I also got my rewriters articles from places on the internet.

There is more than hope with rewritten articles. Red has proven that with this thread.

@Millygirl - No, it's not my blog. If it was, it'd be covered in Adsense. I'm considering rewriting the entire thing and making my own blog, though. :pirate:

oh i see. yeah, i didnt want to submit plr articles because i figure that is an automatic rejection. i was just wondering if they were good for tweaking and ideas. thanks for the info.

for some reason everytime one of my account gets to around 2000 following on twitter it starts popping up messages like twitter is unable to follow blah blah.. I'm wondering, for new accounts, is there a 2000 limit. Also, with hummingbird do you leave the "protect mutual followers" checked or unchecked or if maybe that has something to do with the limit.

When you get to 2000 followers you have to have a certain percentage of people following you back before you can add more. You'll want to unfollow everyone that isn't following you back so you can then add more followers to that account. Again, it's a building process just like with AC itself, so once you get to the 2000 limit just let that account sit for a few days to allow the people to follow you back. After a few days, go ahead and unfollow the people that didn't respond and add more followers. This is how you'll want to build up all of your accounts.

Once you have 2000 people following you back, then the 2K limit for following new people gets lifted.

I just leave it unchecked...it has nothing to do with the following limits Twitter has in place.

hey red, do you use anything besides hootsuite to automate your twitter accounts?

Edit: Found the answer to my own question. Hummingbird, Twitter Karma, and Hootsuite. very interesting that you use hummingbird. i heard that tweet adder was a much better application. Have you tried it yet?

Hootsuite has always worked for me so I roll with it. there are a ton of options out there for managing your accounts and automating your posts though. I use a combination of Hootsuite, TwitterKarma and Hummingbird for Twitter. With that said, I'm sure there may be better options, but I just haven't taken the time to keep up on "Twitter technology" lol because it's just a portion of how I promote my page views.

@ everyone - I need to address something that I've already addressed a few times before, but the last time was about 10 pages back so it's a bit buried now...

PLEASE don't blast me in PM and through email with questions. I do (and have done) everything I can to answer peoples questions in this thread and shouldn't be expected to
spend a full 12 hours everyday trying to clear out a backlog of messages. I'm not one to just ignore people and act like I never got it, but many of the private messages and emails I get are 1) Things I've already answered a number of times in this thread. 2) Small little details that take a little trial and error on your part. 3) New questions that should be asked here so that I can answer them 1 time for everyone, rather than 20 times for everybody individually through PM.

Again, questions that may take you guys 2 minutes to write out will end up taking me an hour to type out a good, thorough response to (that will actually help). While I like to be able to help people, it's really not fair to me, especially considering I've got a 40 page thread here that's loaded with tips and tricks, a reasonably priced guide that walks you through working AC step by step, and then consultation services where I work with you guys individually for a small fee. I keep the latter two things as reasonably priced as possible because I know money is tight for everyone, but please you guys, you can't expect me to spend hours a day (not getting my own work done in the process) answering questions through private message and email.

With that said, please understand that there's only one of me, and I get questions that I need to try to answer from hundreds of people. I've become really good friends with a number of you guys so it's hard for me to be a hard ass and say "let's setup a session for consultation", but it's really what I have to do from now on, so please try to be respectful of that.

As you can tell, I enjoy popping into this thread a few times a day and answering questions (lol I've been doing it for months), because I know I can be helping a number of people at one time and I DO want to see people succeed with AC. This thread is getting 300-500 views a day, so you can only imagine how many PM's and emails that adds up to. ;)

Thanks for understanding and rock on!

Red

edit: and on a side note, for those select few of you that have been pirating my book and then have the balls to try to email/pm me with follow up questions...bullshit!...have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode "The Soup Nazi"?

Well... "NO FUCKING SOUP FOR YOU!!" lol

I send everyone that buys it a follow up email with bonuses attached etc, so if you PM me and are asked for some form of confirmation that you are a legit buyer, please provide it. Also, every Pay*pal transaction has a confirmation number attached and I wasn't born yesterday. ;)

Yea, i understand completely where your coming from. I remember when you first said this and I thought that it was a completely pointless post because the only people thats going to read this is the people who have actually read the thread. Most of the people that post the same questions and bombard you with bunches of emails (im probably one of them :)) dont read the thread. They, maybe, read the first post and then go on with their questions. It doesn't even cross their minds to read the ENTIRE thread. I think you need a sticky at the very beginning of the thread that says:

"DO NOT ask any questions until you have read this ENTIRE thread. DO NOT email me with questions either until you have read this ENTIRE thread. After you have finished reading this ENTIRE thread, BUY my book. If you still have questions after you finish reading my book, then PAY for my consultation."

lol. But seriously maybe you should edit your first post to include a variation of the above and make it stand out so newbies have to see it.

@tchashow
Hey, what sources do you cite for rewritten articles??
This question might have been answered before, but I read the whole thread a month ago, so I'm not gonna go to the trouble of reading it again for one small question.

On behalf of Redtide I would just like to say that the man deserves a break from answering a thousand questions per day. You can't expect him to answer every small question you have for FREE.

I bought Redtide's book a few weeks ago and I've been implementing ever since. But the I realized that I had more questions for him.....So what did I do? I PAID Him with MONEY for his time. His AC consultation services are superb and he answered all my questions in detail. I was initially worried that the consulting services would be expensive but the price is very, very reasonable considering the incredible information he offers you.

Buy the book. Buy his consulting service. I've made back my investment 10x times already and I know I'll continue to do better.

@popmania- To find sources to cite for your rewritten article, just type in your main keyword in google and look for something that contains some of the same info thats included in your article.

BTW, you can use the search this thread button thats featured at the top of the thread to find info that you cant remember. If you have the same problem I have and the search button doesnt work for you, you can go up into edit and click the "find" button and type in the subject of what your searching for. This way takes much longer because you have to go through every page, but no longer than 15 mins!

@ tchashow - You know what, thats a good idea! I should see if one of the mods will give me the edit button to update the initial post with something along those lines. ;)

I appreciate you having my back regarding the things I talked about btw!

Thanks much

@ verve22 - It was my pleasure and I'm glad you found it helpful verve22. Again, thanks so much for having my back about it, It's definitely appreciated!
