Insulting is a rule, being rude is one that is borderline depending on if it goes to insulting.
For instance, Josh is a jackwagon - not really allowed.
Josh can't spell to save his life - not a violation.

I think it's could easily be argued that his point was not rudeness but an evident statement of fact
