Well there's this mysterious phenomenon called a 'context' which can determine ultimately whether somethings used in positive sense, negative sense or apathetically. As a case in point - 'that was shit' - negative, 'that shit was unreal' - positive, 'what is all this shit' - neutral. OK? Is that clear now?
