Why Facebook bought giphy

There is plenty you can do about it if you care enough to put in the opsec effort

On desktop I use ublock origin on Chrome, few months ago tried to switch to firefox and duckduckgo but Chrome was way faster and Google search always provides better search result so I've switched back to Chrome and google. On my android phone I have completly uninstalled Facebook and google chrome using pc, on phone I only use firefox and I have ublock origin installed as well and I rarely use youtube app i usually use firefox to access it. What else can I do?

Brave look a lot like Chrome. Much faster and here we are still together committed since a year

There are guides online for serious opsec, its certainly more involved than what browser you use. I'm not an expert by any means so i don't want to offer any advice

Yes it is about cookies too which I have them disabled as welll, the only thing left for me to do is burning both of them alive Mark and the google owner which I don't know his name

I'll take that as a yes. Come on, you have 1500 posts and haven't even bought Jr VIP yet. Make more money, get rid of the Android and level up.
Who said i dont have money to buy jr vip. There are a lot of people with even more posts than me that arent jr vip, yet they make a lot of money. And who said that people who aee using android are poor. Judging peoples success by their preferences lol.
Keep going you have a bright future ;)

Been testing on my older pc - Brave browser on my pc takes 2min before it lets me do anything. Chrome works within 10sec.

Many also wrote review on google play that new version of brave is crazy slow.

Alternatives to Chrome or Firefox are not worth it in overall.

Too bad the big money platform and browser is iPhone with Safari. We all know only poor people have Androids.
Don't be FOOLISH, I use Android because I prefer it to IOS, it doesn't mean I can't buy an iPhone so shut the fuck up

It's really so annoying to know that we are being tracked 24/7 by Google and Facebook and not being able to do anything about it
Seriously, we're being tracked like shit
I Googled something using Chrome, all of a sudden when I opened my Facebook, the ads shown to me is thesame as what I Googled
We're being monitored

Not true. Some actually prefer Android.

I hope bhw 2.0 will bring a dislike button

It'll turn us into Reddit.

Ublock will kinda avoid 3rd party trackers but not the kind of tracking Google does.

Chrome works inside the operating system. It tracks everything even when you're not running it (it leaves a spy update.exe process running).

Android is much worse. It listens in on conversations.

Let us not discuss problems; We must discuss solutions! Imagine a decentralized web where webmasters do not have to be slaves to the desires of Google and Facebook!

This.

So what's the solution?

It's much worse than www tracking.

Android is listening on your conversations.

I've tested it myself several times and also with several witnesses who thought it was conspiracy theory.

For example, just a few weeks ago before the pandemic, there was a get together, we were drinking and each chose a song. I said the name of a famous musician several times near a friend's phone. He doesn't like said musician.

When he got home he called me and said fuck you Barto, you hacked my home PC. I said why. He said his HOME youtube was suggesting the musician I was telling him about.

This has been tested by many people online.

One famous case of a couple who doesn't own a cat, they started talking about "feeding their cat" near the Android phone.

Sure enough they began to see cat food ads.

It's been happening for a while already

During this pandemic Facebook is binge buying startups.

Startups are going broke. Big brands buying everything.

This is why decentralized crypto projects are being started and will eventually overthrow these companies

Mcdonalds, Starbucks etc majority of net worth is in real estate/their locations. They aren't among the biggest company because of food that would be close to impossible.

If you guys think for a second Facebook bought Instagram, Whatsapp, Giphy etc because of some tiny mere "tracking" think again.

They want to own a large market share of the internet space.

Market share = money/worth.

Then if they choose to utilize it to 100% (by things such as tracking for advertising) that's another thing but it's not the reason Facebook (as the company) keeps staying there at the top.

This.

So what's the solution?

Fore update.exe file you can stop the server, the easiest solution for that is to type system configuration in the search bar >> navigate to services tap and check Hide all Microsoft services option >> click disable all then apply and finally click ok (Make sure not to disable antivirus or malware services) .

What about if Microsoft services are spying on you too then we should delete windows and destroy our computers too :D, or maybe switch to linux? I have both windows 10 and linux. You can change some privacy settings in windows 10 from the setting.

For Android which conversations do you mean ??

Isn't that good for startups? Create a valuable data driven software/company and have a big company buy you out for millions?

Unless they of course rather stay in the game and change the world or whatever.
