Journey: $100/day Speeding Websites

I've decided to move forward with an SPP.co account, seems like an excellent option. Will report on that!

I dont know if it's because I watched a few videos on wordpress speedup this week,or because of how you're documenting the journey but I love this thread!

How are your paid ads going? How many $25 sales you get from $100 spend.
I feel like you would do better by owning your own cart and not replying on fiver but maybe that's a more long term strategy.

Either way, keep grinding and I'm sure you'll smash $100 per day soon!

Oh, I love speeed! I run push notifications ads mainly on mobile, where page load time is super important. Yeah, optimizing pages for speed is fun :) Good luck with your journey!

I did not know that such a thing exists! it looks useful, but I think $47/month is a high price, should be somewhere around 20-25.

I am seeing many thread s about fiverr, specially that drastic cut by the amazon. Btw, good luck

Haha, thanks and I hope to make you guys proud!

Paid ads need some tweaking, I spent another $10 yesterday on AdWords, quite a few clicks but no conversions, while there's plenty of clicks on specific keywords like "website speed optimization" and "wordpress speed up", I feel like I need to optimize a little bit because the clicks are expensive and the Fiverr redirect seems to be turning people off.

Facebook is interesting because you can target by interest, and it seems like there's quite a lot of people to target when you target certain keywords.

For example, my search for 24-44 year olds from the US, with just "blog, digital marketing, e-commerce, wordpress, woocommerce, fashion bloggers" as keywords, seems to show 50m+ audience. I'm running an ad with these exact settings right now, and gonna deduct whatever results I get from that, and create another better informed ad later when I have some stats.

I'm running 2 different ads

and

I think to convert better, I'm going to have to capture emails on-site, probably with a free offer, have some email marketing back-and-forth going, and keep Fiverr and the website separate. That's why I was looking into spp.co, which I'm probably gonna set up sometime today.

It's around $99 a month to use my domain too, which is hefty moving forward, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Also, looking for sales in Facebook groups has not been really successful, but I see some potential as well.

So far $30 spent on AdWords, and $20 on Instagram. Instagram has some interesting results I'll post about later on today.

I think I'm onto something with the ads, but the conversion needs to be perfect, we'll definitely learn something within the coming days.

It's super fun, I do still have a lot to learn, but hopefully this will provide me with the opportunities to get more experience.

It's a steep price, especially as I will have to go with the more expensive option to use my own domain.

However, it does have some pretty nice features that really do help.

For example their cart system works really well, you can give people keyword tracking, and quite a bit more. I suggest you get a free trial and check it out :)

Ah yes, the opportunities are definitely there with Fiverr. They pay good, and there's quite a lot of gigs so you can get pretty creative.

Lmao imagine doing something like psychic reading Fiverr affiliate with social traffic :D

i don't think that you should redirect them to fiverr
instead direct them to landing page then to fiverr

Fun thread OP. Have you considered targeting the higher end of the budget distribution? Maybe contact businesses with slow websites and offer to help for a 4 digit sum instead of $35-50?

Yes, I see the potential in looking up slow websites and local websites and offering this service.

Today, I built my SPP setup, basically users will scroll the website, and each service has it's "sign up" like this

Leading them to the signup form, where they can see my services

It's pretty cool, I'm excited to start running ads now.

Also yes, about the price, I am going to increase it a bit, but this guy is already bidding on top spot on all my kw's

I could do $39

What about SeoClerks, do you offer you service there too?

One thing I realized is that there's not many offering this one specific service on BHW, so this might be a unique opportunity, whereas on SEOClerks and Fiverr, you can get this service for less than $20.

I'm also looking for a Freelancer.com bot that will auto bid on these gigs maybe.

I'm a sucker for speed too and spend a lot of time optimizing my sites.

I'm quite surprised that you're personally using Divi though, I feel like it's too bloated. I don't know how fast your site is, but if you've been able to make it super fast with Divi, then you can conquer most things out there.

Really Good Going,

IMHO, It's a good decision you made to keep the Fiverr gig and website separate.
With your website and building an email list, you can sell them your service for a premium by educating them a little by carefully engineering an email sequence to warm them up to buy.

This is what I would do, send the traffic to a squeeze page for an email in exchange for a simple 1 or 2-page cheatsheet/guide/checklist,
nothing fancy like 5 to 10 steps (without giving away the crucial steps) to improve their website speed/mistake to avoid and the follow-up email sequence would be you just elaborating those 5-10 steps and at the end of every email say something like "feeling overwhelmed or don't have time to do all this why not let the experts do this for you while you reap the benefits for a fair and reasonable price" CTA and link to buy the service. You can sell it for $97 if you do a good job.

I would also highly suggest you tweak the copy of both your ad/landing pages.
(Your highest bidding competitor did a good job in the ad copy itself stating the negative effect of the slow website in numbers so the target audience can understand and relate)

The landing page can be, A simple short video or some bullet points on the landing page how slow loading site negatively affects like low SEO ranking,
fewer website conversions and sales, more bounces of visitors, etc and how optimizing the website speed and fast loading can improve all of those.
A simple but firm Call to action opt-in. If they don't add a pop-up and send them directly to the Fiverr gig as the last resort.

Sorry, for my rambling. I know this is work but I sincerely believe this is worth it. Either way, you are selling and they are buying so why not sell a little better for a higher price and provide them a better service.
Not everybody price shops if you provide BETTER VALUE.

Just my 2 cents.

If you can do B2B marketing, try wapplyzer datasets. You can purchase data by targeting CMS or even plugins. People who is already using a caching plugin or using any CDN and still have low speed score are most likely interested in your service. You can hire someone to outreach for you.

If you are going to try this, go for subscription service. No point in doing all these for one time payment. May be you can even offer speed optimization for free and pitch for other services like monthly website maintenance/management. Also, offer add-ons like SEO and Social Media.

Some gold right there ;)

- It's decided, the gig will be separate to the website, I've already dropped $99 on SPP, this should be good for collecting emails and follow-up kinda strategy.
- I want to do something with the DIY Guide, I might make it a freeby for members when they sign up (gonna change this to free right now), this will capture emails
- Good tips on my CTA/testing situation, I'm probably going to get to that at some point
- I stole some bulletpoints from this BHW post - gonna populate that page with more content, and hopefully get around to writing that guide sometime soon (currently just copy-pasted some guide from Google since noones buying yet)

It's late now, I'm working on the SPP stuff, can't wait to check up on the Google/FB ads tomorrow to see if I have any new signups.

I'm also going to email blast this to my 15k+ SMM list sometime this week, that should also be interesting.

Could outsource the guide..
