My ClickBank conversion rate % is it too low?

Hello, I'm pretty new to affiliate marketing, I've been working on a site and I have managed to send some traffic to the affiliate sales page, however, I'm not sure if the results I have got should be the expected or if they are low.

My site is getting some traffic from social networks and also started to get some organic visits from Google, I have found that my banner has a good click rate since about 20-30% of the people who land in my blog click my banner which redirects to the affiliate sales page.

These are my Clickbank stats from January to Date.

Hop count: 783
Initial Sales Count: 3
Order Form Sale Conversion: 15%

So according to this data, the whole conversion rate is around 0.38% but the conversion of the Order Form Sale is 15%.

I would like to know in your experience, is this good conversion for Cold Traffic? What am I doing wrong?

What a good idea I have not thought about it! is a review article the only way of "pre-warm" traffic? what are the most effective methods? would love to see an example of pre-warming of traffic, I will start to research, if you can share some would be really helpful

Way too many variables here. It entirely depends on your niche and traffic. I have some sites which convert around 10% on cold and others at 0.01% with very similar traffic.

20-30% on banner clicks from organic seems... high. It might be that you have great content and copy or that might be inflated by something. I wouldn't worry too much about the order form sales conversion. You could list a product at $10,000 and you'll still get curious people (or bots) click through without any real intention of buying.

Focus on the overall conversion rate or EPC.

0.38% might be great for your niche. The only way to really know is see someone else's numbers or (more likely) test.

Test different products (if you're linking to an affiliate offer), different landers or different banners. A high CTR is meaningless if a better banner brings more sales.

I'm guessing you're linking directly to the sales page? Try linking to a pre-sell page talking the product up and offering a bonus first of all. I have an affiliate site that started doing this and while the clickthrough rate tanked the EPC was much higher. The site made 10x more for a few hours work.

For some niches, it can be worth getting them onto an email funnel and selling to them over time. Really depends on your audience here and it will require more time and testing to figure out what they need but it gives you more time to establish credibility and warm them up to a sale.

I have managed to growth niche social accounts on facebook, twitter, pinterest and tumblr. most of my traffic comes from there, but lately I have seen a very significant increase on organic traffic from google, which is what I really want, so Im getting nice SEO results lately.

Yeah, in my case it's just a course in the spiritual niche, what's the highest conversion rate you have had on a clickbank product? and where can I find better quality products?
