Because i have tested it for other purposes, but not on whatsapp. But it should work perfectly just fine.

I have used skype phones in the past and they work well. You have to test, there's no guarantee a company will work for you. It's test and see what works, as with anything

The services I found that support Italian numbers for Whatsapp require proof of address in Italy which kinda defeats the purpose. Any services ?
