Hi,

I have a website having how-to kind of article based on coding niche. I am running this site from past 5 years everything was okay till this last november and this may google update. My traffic is dropped around 50%.

From past 5 year i have not made a single backlink for my website and i was getting around 5000+ pageviews per day

But now i wanted to start building backlinks for my website to regain my ranking and traffic.

Is there any good backlink strategy for how-to kind of website without any money pages like i have only simple how-to pages in coding niche.

I want to know which kind of links i needed for such websites and where to point then like in root domain or how to pages which are are not money pages and have around 500-600 monthly searches on an avg.

I am planning to start few expired web2.0 and parasite backlinking

Kindly reply

github (profile/projects), reddit, twitter, guest posts? .. maybe you can even do some press releases about some unique solutions. in your niche it should be quite straight forward :)

best of success!

Build pbns on home page and inner pages, and guest posts on inner pages, vary your keywords exact, partial, lsi most link building sellers will help you with that

Look into mailing lists for open source projects. A lot of them let you add a link to your profile page which shows up on the page listing all the members. This page shows up in hundreds of mirrors, all with insanely strong backlink profiles.

Thanks a lot. Where we have to point out the links. On my root domain or any specific page because i don't have any special page like money page?

I won't spoon feed the whole method but I'll give you and example and you can figure it out from there. For this example, I'll use the Perl Modules author list. The same method works for hundreds of other open source projects.

If you sign up as a developer wanting to contribute to perl development, you get added to their author list. This list of authors shows up on every mirror they have for their project (which is a LOT). A lot of them are hosted in universities (edu links) and huge open source software mirrors (you can get links from debian.org, ubuntu.com, gnome.org etc) with millions of backlinks pointing to them.

The best part is that the links are totally free (and relevant in your case). The downside is that there are a lot of outbound links on these pages. But if you want 100 links in a hurry, this is the best way to do it because you only have to signup once and it's mirrored automatically all over the world.

This should be enough to get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks a lot for this amazing strategy

Best is to continue with same strategy and focus on content only. I am sure you would have got back links or mentions from other website for free.
