How does Paypal Check for Tracking numbers ?

When I get the tracking number from my suppliers, it works on some tracking websites like 17track and others not. Which website does Paypal use to check for the tracking ? And should I enter the tracking number to Paypal transaction even though it works on some website and some websites not ?

So if the tracking number is from other not so large companies ( eg aliexpress standard shipping ) what then ?

You can still add those tracking details, but they won't reflect the progress of the shipment, like it won't be marked as delivered, etc.
Only way for paypal to check is thru checking it manually to the supported tracking website as you mentioned.
I hate it especially when your funds were on hold, and only be released once it's marked as delivered, and now you have to wait atleast 21 days to get the funds.

wait 1 week or 2 week for example if you are shipping to the usa wait 1 week or 2 week then it will show on on usps.com website even though its a epacket coming from china then you can add your tracking number as career usps. If its from another country like canada same process wait 1 or 2 week then use Canada post etc...

That's what I hate the most.
But when your Paypal account is limited and they ask you for "proof of fulfillment" which tracking numbers, if you enter a tracking number that isn't yet available on all tracking websites, then you'll get in trouble no?

I think they might be using 17track as a reference, only when it's available on 17track will they accept it..

1 - 2 weeks is way too loong, when Paypal is limited you can't ship and wait for 1-2 weeks with your funds on hold..

Nah bruh youre overthinking it. They a billion dollar company... they'll figure it out. I just enter the tracking number regardless and they do what they gotta do. 9/10 I win the case, (assuming your talking bout PayPal cases/ buyer messages). Never had them tell me tracking is invalid or nothing like that.

Ooh can't speak on that as I've never had limitation. I'd assume it'd be similar though in their backend.

oh christ always add your tracking numbers, it forms part of the audit trail should shit hit the fan!
