Does anyone get their youtube channel monitize during this quarantine

how long have you been waiting for partnership channel review?

Not yet.
They are processing the request super slowly these days.

What niche is your channel? Not looking to copy, i think the approval process speed depends on your niche.

Channels don't have 'niches' or categories that you can choose from. individual videos have categories, but channels do not.

Youtubes system can scam your video titles and a few other things to determine what "niche" your channel is in. It then uses this information to deliver ads that relate to that topic. They might use this information to determine your channels "niche" and put you in a waiting list to get monetized within that particular niche (to manage supply & quality control).

My guess is, some niches have shorter "lines" than others. If i could just figure out which niches got instant approval & which ones took longer it could help support my theory.

Mostly tech videos got fast approval. And Yes the Quality of the video matters too

You are just trying to be difficult. If I post a lot of gaming videos, I can say my channel is in the gaming niche. If I post a lot of sports videos I can say my channel is in the sports niche. He just wanted to know the dominant type of videos on the channel, simple!

that doesn't make sense. why would any niche deserve to get instant approval. What if I have a niche in the tech or finance, but all my videos are garbage, low quality? Is instant approval a good idea? absolutely not

One of my friend got his channel approved.

Gaming channel. I recorded myself playing League of Legends and bought watch hours.

I had a few years old adsense account. My channel has 4k genuine subs, but they are dead.

Have you had any other channels monetized? i am wondering how fast their approval was
