Growing a YouTube channel with Facebook? HOW??

I read on multiple places across Blackhatworld that the best way to grow a YouTube channel is with social media.

I have a YouTube channel with 100% my own videos, niche is painting. I started with three videos per week and now I'm publishing videos every day. There is about 80 videos published and about 200 scheduled.

The stats are - 2100 subs, 800k views. Most of the subs come from Microworkers and most of views from Google Ads.

And now my question is how can I grow this channel faster? How can social media help - if I share a videos on Facebook and people watch it, why would they go to my YouTube channel (or maybe I misunderstood the method)?

i personally havent done any such thing but i have seen many people who upload half or some part of their video on facebook and provide youtube link to the full video and ask people to watch the complete video there.
Or they just spam their youtube link on different pages/groups, also commenting their links on posts

It's possible if u think your content is interesting and that the people are going to watch not only 1 of your video but 2 or 3
