Short URL sucks SEO!!

i guess that's just waste of a good url.. you could just remove one and make the url shorten and more SEO friendly/user friendly...
I have silo pages that's why I kept the middle URL too....

if I will use my keyword twice in URL is there any problem?? (example.com/best-college/best-college-in-california)like this. does it look spammy in front of google? some suggestions and feedback would be highly appreciated.
This is exactly the way i organize my permalinks, site.com/category-name/best-product-in-category/

No because u are just more specific with the keyword by adding a city

Just keep it short and simple. This should be the least of your concern.

keyword spamming like */black-hat-seo/black-hat-seo-tools/ in the url isn't welcome.
The best way is always a user friendly url like */black-hat-seo/seo-tools/

Your main goal is to include keywords, and if you trust in Yoast SEO and other things that say: repeat keyword, then repeat it once twice, but that is BS

Every keyword once is very enough, or swap the order of the words/meaning/ or change words, example:

Keyword: My Original Keyword

Did you knew that my new keyword contain the word original? (swap the order of the words)

I've started using the very unique words for my articles (change words)

And here is how to fix your OP

This would look more good

(example.com/best-college/california)

Shorter url with better keyword variations.

You can use the keyword tool for optimizing your links.

2-10 of the same links in 1 Google index will be bad, especially if you spam links on many pages.

They will be entered into 1 query

Issue might arise when it comes to links, especially naked URL anchors since they will be keyword stuffed.

I would do:
example.com/college/california
-or-
example.com/best-college/california

It is good to end with example.com/best-college/california.

one thing to remember, the less "/" you use, the better it is from google's eye. They want your desired page to be close to the root domain, and not included in multiple levels
for example
domain.com/money_page is better than domain.com/category/money_page

Using the same keyword twice will make your "Bad URL Structure" in the terms of SEO and this will reduce your SEO effort towards the ranking of your page. Instead of repeating the same words, you can go for associated keywords with similar meaning and use it in your URL, if necessary. Otherwise, it is better to leave it with the single use of a keyword. If you have multiple keywords the try to use the common words.
