What do you use to stop email spammer from your wordpress?

Guys,

I have been receiving too many emails from my wordpress blog ( to the gmail that I used to register my wp blog). The spams are coming directly from my domain - "[email protected]"

Some random messages are being sent using random email addresses but my domain is being used as the main sender.

Please suggest a good solution to this. I prefer free one if available.

Akismet is not able to stop those spammers.

Just Add cPatcha to contact form. Make sure high settings are on captcha. This will stop only automated bots who use your contact form you cannot stop real users who want to reach you.

The plugin that I use for website spam protection is this one - https://cleantalk.org/

Its by far the best one I have used to date, the good thing is that it doesnt use captcha - so you can have a nice pleasant experience for your website visitors, and in the background this plugin works to intelligently block contact form submissions from spammers. It works very well.

it depends on what emails you get honestly.

What do you mean with spam? Like spam from viagra stuff they want to sell, of real persons that do outreach to you.

If you define that, you can take action a lot easier

No, thpse emails aren't coming from real person.
I can see titles with some random meaningless words and links to viagra or illegal stuffs inside.

I'm tired of deleting them from my gmail's inbox/spam folders.

Will it work in my case?
I receive spoofed emails spams as if it is coming from "[email protected]"

hcaptcha is worst than all captcha tools as per my personal experience.
