Best way not to break the rules

Hi guys, I think I don't understand how the site works. I try to publish posts but for some reason they violate the rules. So I was wondering the best way to post without violating community rules.

It's like walking on eggshells round here, am I right? "Oops, just broke another rule. Ah, just broke another one! *crack, snap, break*". Can't make one post without breaking rules.

All joking aside (actually, please keep rule 3.5 in mind in the future), there are a lot of rules on the forum. If you don't have the time to read all of the rules, one of our administrators @WilhelmScream wrote up this newbie guide thread titled "The Three Commandments of BHW". I suggest you read it for an easy run down of how to avoid breaking rules here on BHW.
