Rank a post within 4hr.

You are not going to rank for a competitive keyword in 4 hour.

As soon as you index you can be ranking for it, this can be done in less than half an hour.
Just search for a good portion of the content within that page between quote marks and you will be ranking for it number 1

Make your post unique and properly optimize your keywords. Then ensure you index the link. However, you can't expect to rank in 4 for some keywords, especially competitive keywords. Just make sure you do the needful with your on-page SEO

Ranking depends on many factors like keyword competition, Keyword difficulty, etc. Try to make unique quality content, and select less competitive and long-tail keywords, however, it cannot expect every keyword will rank within 4 hours.

Well, actually you can, I created an article for a KW and when I indexed it I was on the first page (position 4), the next day I went down to position 9 and now I'm in position 1, it's been two months.

Note: my domain is one of "moderate" authority.

I know the tactics above aren’t anything revolutionary or new, but it’s interesting to look at the data and see how specific tactics affect rankings. If you want to do well and have your new AND old content rank faster and higher, you need to do everything.

As soon as the page is indexed it is ranked somewhere, just may not be in the top 200 search results. But to rank on the first page, a few days or weeks for a decently strong site with low to med competition words. If you don't have a strong website with some age, you may be looking at months to see the first page.

It's totally possible if your domain is nyt.com or CNN.com...

In other words, your domain needs to have an extremely high authority. Blackhatworld threads get indexed in minutes.

First you need your post indexed and them depends on competitors of your keyword and then you give quality of unique content.
Promote in social media.

I write sports betting previews for keywords like "x vs y nfl betting prediction", and they rank in the top 3 search results within hours.

The speed to rank depends on competition, domain strength, and other factors.

If you want to rank your site faster, you have to give good content, use long-tail keywords and highly trusted backlinks this maybe increase your website ranking.

Yes, possible if the site have high authority, trust and high quality traffic. But it's a bit hard for site with less authority, you need to put more effort. Post quality content and high quality links and trusted backlinks, low competitive keyword. And, Yes it will take some more time.
