Hello,

I would like to know if anyone here is making good $$$ trading forex. There are a lot of people that just want you to buy their program but i want to get started without buying anything. Is it possible to do? I can invest up-to 500$

I don't plan on buying lambos or anything, making double the average wage here in Greece for me would be enough.

Would love hearing more about this.

I've traded Forex ages ago, and this is what I can tell you. $500 is way to low. With this amount, trade only 0.1 lots, and one at a time, otherwise you will have the order closed, if you make a bad decision and your balance wiped out. Don't trust forex signal and don't buy anything. Just follow the market, and switch between 1M-5M-1H charts, to have a clue how the market will go, and keep an eye on the news (right now there's so much news). Don't trade fancy currencies. Stick with EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF.

Why did you stop trading?

Why did you stop trading?
I've lost a lot, earned a lot. In the end I made profit. Right now there's no need to learn anything. Because what happens right now it happens once in a century. Trust your gut and risk your cash and you can earn a lot.

I trade, here is what i can tell you, paper trade before you use your real money, once you get to a level of 60% wins vs 40% losses, you are good to go.
I've already tried paper trading just buy buying on the lows and selling on the highs and made some profits. Do you use any strategy to trade?

Start now trading forex is not the best moment, right now is pure gambling

Right now the economy is not stable , try paper trading as mentioned above an train until coronavirus is over

I'm interested too. Is there someone expert who could recommend something good to read to start learning about this? Or maybe good videos to watch?

Don't believe thoes forex videos that tell u u can start with only $100 or $500 . Forex need a lot of time and a lot of practice for you to throw that money , it's better to average it in a roulette that start with a minimum of $1 and maximum $18k ( don't do it :D ) if u said stocks maybe u have more chance but u see how the market is doing right now it's a good opportunity ( if u know what u are doing aka invest at your own risk and never use leverage and never never put all your money at 1 time ) basically average or u can just average in an index fund and u be good. Just not to make u feel bad i'm not saying that u can't make it with $500 but it's better if u have more so u can know the risk and average it.

I don't know what about other countries, but in russia Forex is SCAM.

I have a friend, who worked in Forex as Head of Marketing.

Forex just means currency trading, which in itself isn't a 'scam' - that's like saying stock trading is a scam based off how certain companies market themselves. Forex is just way too saturated with shitty companies trying to sell shitty products so it gets a bad rep
