I need some advice guys (my competitor is a moron)

There’s a person (who is probably also a member of this forum) that made it his GOAL to remove me from YouTube. (I mean my comments that I MANUALLY post).

So we pretty much promote similar offers and he’s on a mission to not allow me to get traffic by simply mass reporting/spamming my accounts nonstop. Everytime I post a comment, there he is reporting me and my comments simply disappear. Also, I think he's using some sort of software to do it...

Now, my thinking is if we both do this then we both lose right? That's clearly NOT what he's thinking tho.

I told him to stop doing it multiple times, and even tried doing things to see if he would reconsider but he just doesn't care... To the point where I'm already thinking maybe I need to do the same to him. I have a developer who's ready to develop a bot for me to mass report/flag him... But who wins in this situation? This is not what I want obviously because I know the kind of money there is out there to get.

I'm just trying to see if there's a way for me to perhaps stop him from removing me, but I can't think of anything at this point. Again, I'm ok with competitors who simply outrank me. It just motivates me to come back stronger, but when they do things to try to remove you from the game I kinda have a problem with that.

What do you guys think I should do?

What kind of footprints are you leaving behind that he could use a bot to just take all of your comments down? Are you both trying to use the same video lists?

If he does not win then he would rather destroy it so nobody does.

You cannot reason with people like that.

If you know he’s doing it, then spam the fuck out of him. There’s no white hat or black hat when it comes to competition playing dirty IMO.

It’s basic stuff. He’s screwing with you because he thinks you can’t or won’t do anything back.

Report, then negotiate with him. Or just learn to 1 up him so much that he stays away for good.

I'm leaving ALL kinds of footprints since I'm not changing ips or nothing. I know he will always be able to see me regardless. And yes we post on the same type of vids.

The thing about it that gets to me is this has been happening for about 2 months now.

I’ve been trying to do what I can but at this point I think is time to play the same dirty game he’s playing.

I might be wrong but, since you're saying that you use same ip, is it maybe possible that youtube is flagging your comments automatically based on your ip/website, and this might not be really a fight with competition. Try to change ur domain/ip/account to see if it still happens

I know it’s him because my comments stay up on all other vids (where he’s not). Whatever he’s using detects comments and flags them and if you try to dislike his comments (which is one of the things I’ve tried doing to make him stop) then he simply posts new comments within minutes.

He definitely has a software to mass report and to re-Post.

But he replied to a few of my comments where I tried to get him to stop so I know he’s constantly checking on his stuff... He actually finds it funny.

This is very disappointing to say the least. But I’ll make a move soon.
