Pornhub DMCA - What to do now?

Hey guys,

A friend of mine uploaded a video of a German YouTube girl that twerked in her story to PH.

Now he got the video removed with the message “Video declined because of DMCA note”

He instantly deleted his account but now he asked me what to do and I’m not shure if he will get a lawsuit.

He is living in Germany.

By the way, this really happened to him and not to me, he just has no BHW account so I ask for him.

Did he got any email?

If it was removed by PH then he should be fine, as long as the copyright owner only wanted PH to remove the video from their platform.
 
Nothing.

If copyrighter wants to know the uploader's identity, need valid warrant. I don't think german youtuber will visit canada court to sue your friend. It is unrealistic situation.

He used a 10min mail to create the account
 
The youtube girl might've reported the video as it damages her reputation. It should be fine unless he receives a legal notice. The take down notices mostly concern about preventing piracy. He shouldn't overreact and leave any footprints.

But what i think is very strange that his video got removed 2 days ago and now someone else uploaded the same video 2 days ago and its online.

He just left one footprint and that's his IP adress.

no, i know it REALLY sounds like that but i work for him and thats why i have to know that.

If it would be me, i would just be honest. Why should i lie about something that could happen to everybody?

I think the same guy reported it and uploaded to his channel. This happens due to competition. Many people used to report tiktok videos on youtube as there is no way for us to prove ownership.

Yeah, there are also people who upload videos of the onlyfans account of the YouTube girl on PH and nothing happens.
 
Just tell your scumbag, bottom-feeder friend to not upload content that does not belong to him.

What if that was your sister, significant other, or friend, etc..?
 
Just do nothing and relax. The video was deleted so no more worries
