Could someone perhaps help me out?

I've recently started a YouTube channel.

I've uploaded about 2 videos and have found that they are getting no views whatsoever.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Are my videos actually shit(or low quality) or do I just need more content?

1) Thumbnails....make them more attractive. The thumbnails you have don't really convey enough message about what your content says. I wouldn't click on your video if I saw it on youtube simply because the title is not really grabbing and the thumbnail isn't up to par either.
Tips to help you create nice and grabbing thumbnail, you can search youtube tuts about making great thumbnails.
2) Title of course. That;s the first thing people look at alongside seeing your thumbnail. You want to think of a title that will make people click on the video. Not saying use a clickbait title, but use one that will grab attention. The coronavirus: a short film isnt really a film is it? (a title like 'Coronavirus: why you should not worry/or panic' or Coronavirus: 'the real truth behind the deadly virus' could be more suitable and more grabbing) And the other title doesn't tell me anything about your 10mins video. If you want to remain mysterious with your title, you have to convey the video message in your thumbnail.

Also you started your video on coronavirus with edited news footages. You can get a nice intro for your channel. maybe say something catchy in the beginning, introducing people to your channel and a 10 seconds of 'what they will get to see in the video' which is called 'the hook' before you begin to show the videos. In between each news footage, say something to reflect on what was said in the news. This is what we call 'criticism' or 'review'

There is so much you can learn from other people on youtube who have a large fan base. Don't copy them but take from what they are doing and how they are doing it, incorporate it into your own video in your own unique way.

Overall you have a great potential to be big. Steadily. dont worry if you dont get too many views at first. You'll get there. Keep putting out quality contents. And definitely work on thumbnails and title. They can make or break your channel.

Very much appreciated, I did not even think of some of the stuff you said. Maybe I might just make a video introducing me, that might be what I need as well. I felt as if my voice was bad lol but thank you, that is my voice.

What do you think of the quality, do you reckon the content I am posting is high quality? That is what worries me the most.

The quality is not bad for a starter. Its actually good but incorporate some of the suggestions too, like intro or something interesting before the video starts. Like i said, watch some youtubers who already have stable large fans in same niche and see what they are doing. it will help you greatly.

RULE 1 on youtube - dont be afraid of comments whether they are critics or negative. Take everything on board, not personally and use them to improve yourself. Even if someone writes something rude or nasty, don't worry about it or dwell on it. There are a lot of trolls on youtube. So dont turn comments off because you're worried what people will say.

I see people turning their likes vs dislikes off even comments. at the end of the day it doesnt really matter.

Keep putting out contents every few days or once a week as much as you have the time for. People improve everyday even the big youtubers. If you check their first few videos, they suck noodles. But everyone improves as they go along and get more confident. Don't worry too much about it.

Im not sure what editing app you use for your videos. Aim for the good quality ones. If you can't afford them now, again use what you have right now in the best way you can. Make your videos interesting as well.

I would love to run ads but have no $$ to invest atm, but when I get some engagement, I will sure do. Now I'm more focused on making high-quality content and thumbnails (have no clue how I'm going to do this).

The best you can do when you still don't $$$ to invest is to join FB groups, then if you got accepted post your link there but make sure to add catchy tittle like "Corona Virus" What the public didn't know.. WHO Reveals this secret. Something like that.
