which domain is better ?

today I found 2 expired domain for my health niche website

please help me choose one of them based their metrics

Linking Domains 11
Inbound Links 255
Spam Score 38 %

ahrefs
Domain Rating 22
Backlinks: 189 , 99% ********
Referring domains: 11 . 91% ********
1 .edu backlink

Referring domains is always best. But you need to look at the kind of links that are linking too it too.

Useless. I spammed domain can have a great DA and PA.

I agree with @Mr Positive Ahrefs DR is a better gauge but even that can be manipulated. Go with quality of the pages linking to the site and the number of quality domains.

Besides metrics I suggest you do the following:

1. Use the "site:domain.com" search operator and look on Google which website still has ranking pages (you will be surprised to see how many websites still have links indexed).
2. Check web.archive.org for each domain to see what previous owners did and how they use it (you might avoid websites that where really used for spam).

i did this but everything is Sloppy , there is no perfect domain , each one has a Defect

While I feel that Ahrefs give a bit more accurate idea of what a domain is capable of, it can still be manipulated. Just because it has high DR doesn't mean it will be good.

@Chris.Roark is spot on with checking the indexing of pages and the history on archive.org. I won't even bother registering an expired domain if it doesn't have at least one page still indexed. If archive.org shows history that isn't an obvious PBN and you have at least one pages indexed you should ok, as long as the backlinks look good.
