web mmo... like Xbox ps4??? Normally if someone said web I would think pc... but since you said web and not desktop...
anyways what I would do... I would shill the fuck outta it. Seriously. If your a marketer... I’m assuming your not a team of cgi dudes, capable of making an awsome trailer... next best thing?
the power of word man... get on forums for games similar to whatever the fuck u advertising. Any social media accounts like insta or Facebook which may upload gameplay videos. Post memes like “your game” vs “big title game similar to your game”
when you have a few post(pics/memes).. don’t just do your game vs big title... do like other stuff too like... if the game your game is similar to is a grind... make a meme bashing the big title game for that reason. then have a reference to your game... like say in the comments someone (your shill account) says “I’m tired of “”bigtitlesimilartoyourgame”” because of the “input reason like grinding, paywall, hackers... etc”... then he(your shill account) says “”try out this game it’s way better!”” Or you can use another account to say that.
try to make it like a web. One post on insta... different on fb... different on the forum for rival game... you don’t have to just pick one game. The more controversial you make the post the better.
It doesn’t even need to be true. If you lie about a game(rival/similar game to what your advertising) in your post, a bunch of people may comment and when you add the comment on your shill account they see it... creating organic traffic ㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲ
