Gaining but still loosing followers.. Why?

I was shadow banned last week or two, I got out of that, and since that, my account is pure trash. Like, I gain 100 followers a day, but loose like 85 of them. What the fuck is going on?

I used to gain 1,000 per week, now I can evet get +100. I've been on 22,200 for a 5 days now, why, how?

No the hashtags don't work, tried changing it, not working.

Anyone with the same issue?

This happened to me too. I contacted IG support and they said it's most likely because of a change in the Algorithm. One member noted before that IG is switching their targeted group and want to drill down on memepages/themepages and so on. They want to have more simple users and established companies who buy promotions. The era is ending

Well, I do have gaming meme page, damn.

Btw. how did you get IG Support to talk with you? I got my last account (20k) deleted without doing anything, and they did not respond... Ever a year and a half later.

I'm sorry for you :/

I spent some money in IG in the earlier days so maybe that's why they actually responded to my questions/inquiries. I had to stop promoting posts because the market got so saturated and money got tight.

But still, I don't understand. Like, if I don't get on my page for like an hour (and I have around 22,180 followers) I'll my notification pop up thing will be something likes this: 60 likes, 10 comments and 30 followers. After I go and check my followers I'd have 22,190.. how? Where did 20 of them go? Like, you can't tell me that people do follow/unfollow this much..

I was gaining 500-1000 followers every day for 2 months than one day it stoped.After one month it gained back traction ,but not as before.
Keep posting,its just their algorythm triggering for some reason.
