Can't get the Amazon Product API to work in my website

As my question stats I am not able to run the Product API in any of amazon Affilaite plugins for wordpress including AAWP or ContentEgg or Affiliate egg. It keep giving me "TooManyRequests: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API." I did created a fresh API credentials and waited for more then 48 hours to get it activate but nothing works.

Please help me, I really need some help.

Some of these new rules set by Amazon are:
  • New Affiliate accounts can only have access to API keys after their shop is verified and have generated at least 3 sales.
  • New API keys start working only after 48 hours.
  • If your account hasn’t generated at least 3 referring sales using Product Advertising API in the last 30 days, your account will lose access to Product Advertising API.
  • Also, according to the Amazon Product Advertising API document, the allowed initial usage limit per day is 8640 requests and the limit for each account will be based on the revenue performance of your Product API during the last 30 days.
If your Amazon Affiliate account does not adhere to these new rules, you would get an error in the API settings page of our plugin called “RequestThrottled – Something went wrong. Please check your API keys”

I got more than 3 sales and I waited for 48 Hours and I tried API not more than a week or two and it won't even processed 1 request yet because it didn't even connect once.

Try to check your API here

You need to be generating sales through API every month. For eg: You might have generated 3 sales in a month and you will get access to API. Once you get the API, you need to generate at least one sale in a month to keep the API active. Hope this clears your query. I had the same issue with one of my account and amazon rep cleared this for me.
 
How many days have been past since you applied the API?

i understand that but it didn't work for once .. or grabbed a single product...
 
Could Be your Api expire try generate new API and check

I asked because I had the same issue and it was about waiting 48hours+ for it to work.

But in your case you waited too long...

Chat with Amazon Support and tell them.

thanks but i can't find the chat option anywhere
 
New API Keys start working after (i think) 48 hours. Give it some time and it will start working.
