Hello webmasters,

Should we disavow broken backlinks? And why?

Thanks in advance!

No need to disavow any link unless you know it is hurting your site in SERPs.

You should fix broken backlinks by 301 redirect related category, post ..

it is always better to check the broken links and fix it the right way because it may give the chance to resist your site from crawling...

You should put in some effort to fix the backlinks first before disavowing them

google will not be able to index any link on particular page then there is no benefit to disavow such link.

What I do is disavow them at domain level. Even if those specific links are not online now, those spam crap websites can link again at some point. So just to be on the safe side - if you decide to disavow, go for the domains.

404 to 301, that is the best way to go around these links. Also do a full site audit with Screaming Frog.

No, it doesn't provide any value to the site, it only harms site by losing user. If it effects your site performance, then you can disavow them.

Only disavow them if they're hurting. Otherwise it's a big NO.

Wouldn't disavow for fun, or curiosity. You can do some serious damage doing that! Only get rid of sites if you know for 100% that they are messing with your site!

If it doesn't hurt you to harm in your rankings no need to disavow any link
