Trip to Asia - Coronavirus?

I living in Singapore n now basically a dead city. Many attractions closed due to possible affected from the virus.

Singapore has invented an intricate technique to track down all the people with whom an infected person came in contact. But still, worries abound about the future of the epidemic.

bro media is portraying it in too much bad way. it's just normal disease nothing to worry unless you are older than 50 and have some kind of disease then its danger otherwise if you are a healthy individual nothing to worry. but be sure to wash hands and use a mask while traveling to countries with most coronavirus cases. Just relax as death rate is very low and most of the people who have died are those people who are old and suffered from some kind of diseases already
I bet you won't go to Wuhan even if they pay you. Lol

Hey guys. I booked a trip in 2019 to Asia - Thailand, Cambodga, Singapure. Going in march.

Are there people living in these countries? What about coronavirus? Is it safe, or would You recommend to stay?
I am asking because The situation is not clear, in theory there are a lot Of people Healthy, but a lot is dead, and there are more more strange news.

How it looks in these countries? I won’t Get money refund Probably, that’s Why I am asking. Is it ok time to fly?
Maybe someone has been in those countries Last time?
Thanks for any advices!

Is safe, actually these countries also got locals and foreigners infected, I doubt you will the one percent so unlucky get inflected when you visit these countries.

Anywhere which part in Thailand you going to ? the last stop is Singapore ?

Yes Southkorea has 433 cases right now.
BUT GUESS WHAT SK has 51.000.000 People living in their Country, which would mean even if it would double in the next 10 DAYS

Math is fun. Let's do a mental experiment.
If you have 400 infected people and they start doubling every 10 days, that's a geometric progression.
In 6 times of doubling (i.e. in 2 months time), you go from 400 to 25 600.
In 12 times of doubling (i.e. in 4 months times), you go to 1 638 400
In 17 times of doubling (i.e. in almost 6 months), you go to 52 428 800, which is over the country's population.

That's the power of doubling and that's the reason why the rate of infection matters with regards to concerns over mass infection dangers.

Now, does that mean that this specific virus will take down SK in half a year? Well, no. At some point, the infection rate will curve downwards. Hopefully :p

As far as the original question goes, my approach is this: My life is worth more than the price of the tickets. If there's even a small risk, why take it? For a few thousand bucks? Really?

i think you should cancel the trip to avoid the Life risk .... buddy!

The coronavirus is fierce. From the current situation, you should not travel for your own health. You must be careful

Worse situation in Italy...

I love how in this thread at the beginning (two weeks ago btw) we were like "it's fine"

now you can't even get flights.

I wouldn't recommend to go Money comes Money go but LIFE comes only once..
