Trip to Asia - Coronavirus?

Hey guys. I booked a trip in 2019 to Asia - Thailand, Cambodga, Singapure. Going in march.

Are there people living in these countries? What about coronavirus? Is it safe, or would You recommend to stay?
I am asking because The situation is not clear, in theory there are a lot Of people Healthy, but a lot is dead, and there are more more strange news.


How it looks in these countries? I won’t Get money refund Probably, that’s Why I am asking. Is it ok time to fly?
Maybe someone has been in those countries Last time?
Thanks for any advices!

This is a hard question but I am pretty sure there are people in those countries. Just my guest though, dont take my words for it.
 
You may get better deals as tourism is down a bit. Just wash your hands often, don't kiss to many people, and you will be ok
 
bro media is portraying it in too much bad way. it's just normal disease nothing to worry unless you are older than 50 and have some kind of disease then its danger otherwise if you are a healthy individual nothing to worry. but be sure to wash hands and use a mask while traveling to countries with most coronavirus cases. Just relax as death rate is very low and most of the people who have died are those people who are old and suffered from some kind of diseases already

This is no laughing matter. It's scary and is already worldwide in western world. Even in Korea it tripled in 1 day.
What if all the air or water becomes contaminated.

This was really a product from a western company. There have been people still lining up at hospitals with not enough doctors in Wuhan. Although other disease occured are as deadly like swine flu, which killed 17k Americans. This season 10k Americans died to normal flu with 19 million affected (source: https://on.mktw.net/2SP8JaT).

@TriLokEsha I don't think the notion of old and already diseased is a factor. On the news, there was a 29 y/o male doctor who died of it.

OP, when I went to a travel agent, there was an Asian travel service nearby, the agent there said nobody's going to Asia right now because of the coronavirus.

You'll get two extremes of this.

"Fake news. It's no big deal." and "Yer gonna die."

Happens every single year with the burning season in Chiang Mai but I'll say this - the ones who don't leave are almost always the ones who can't afford to. It's a marketing forum. Don't take health advice here.

I'd imagine there's some truth to both sides. Some of the news shit is hyped up. Some of it isn't. It might become a whole lot worse - it might not.

Personally, I'm delaying my return to that side of the world at the moment. It might be relatively low risk but I personally know people who have been there a while leaving because of it and see no reason to make it potentially worse.
 
If you booked the trip from a local agency, if I were you I'll go straight there and tell them that I won't go due to latest developments, but you will go if they lower the price with 50% or more! Be smart.
