How many of you know this keyword research “trick”?

Here’s the trick:

Search for a broad topic in Ahrefs' Content Explorer and apply two filters:

Referring domains < 5
Organic traffic > 1,000

You'll get a list of relevant pages that get lots of organic traffic while having few or no backlinks.

This is a great trick. I have played around with filters but never tried this domain trick!

Sorry but it seems an useless "trick".
You can find a lot of results with few backlinks and high traffic, but it's just because of the very high authority (DR) of the domain! So if you build a website with the same (or higher) number of backlinks, it's impossible you will rank in the same way as that sites with high DR...
Also, not to forget about high pbns..
Just a waste of time, especially for newbies

Finding low competition keywords ... note that low competition for someone else does not mean low competition for you.

Create articles targeting those keywords, setup on-page SEO, and build backlinks to them.

It's not simply quantity of backlinks, quality too.

I would back you on this, hence this is not as good a trick as it first sounds. High domain authorities are at work here. Google is not dumb!!
