I have a few questions about Affiliate marketing

Firstly, Is anybody able to point me in the right direction to find affiliate marketers to sell art?

I sell Photography prints through my website ranging from £250 to £1000 and have set up an affiliate section of my website paying 25%. So obviously it is smaller volume but higher return.

I wondered, will I find affiliate marketeers willing to help.

Also, are there any things that i should watchout for that might harm either my reputation or my websites ranking with Google?

Photography/Art is difficult to sell as it's value is subjective.

A better bet is to sell licensing rights on platforms such as shutterstock, getty images etc.

Yes i do that as well and make a bit as a Shutterstock contributor. Getty do not pay as well.

In terms of selling my photography, i do sell 2 to 3 prints a month but feel i might be able to sell more if my 'reach' was better. At the moment i only get about 20 visits per day to my website and around 8K IG followers.

If you have big budget i say contact Cpa marketing networks i think they will work out something with you.

Are your sales coming from your instagram followers or are those sales coming from visitors finding your site from somewhere else?

Thanks for that. Have just been researching it before replying.

As I understand it CPA is when a marketer is paid for getting a person to take an action whereas CPC pays for each click through to the website.

Why would it be more beneficial to go with CPA over CPC?

I think a mixture. Some also from seeing my work in magazines or competitions i think. TBH i am not too sure. Should i be able to tell this from Google Analytics?

You can buy paid traffic from Adword, FB etc

Good luck

Thank you! :)

I wonder with ADwords if people skip over the adds at the top of the page and look at the higher ranked listings (i know i do). And after reading a lot on here if that money might not be better spent on SEO or IG. I find it all so confusing!!

Title and description should be so eye catching for Adword ads that make the searcher so curious to visit your site despite knowing that its an advertisement

Yea i do see your point. I think i am probably not great at this!

I always you can only make landscape photography so interesting in a description without resorting to 'sales' or 'deals' which i think can put people off.

Understanding where the people that buy come from is key to understanding how you scale your sales.

I suggest you contact all the people that have bought from you and ask where they spotted your work and from now on add the question on your sales form.

When you have a reasonable amount of data hopefully a pattern will develop.

For example 7 out of 10 saw you on ig.

When you have that pattern data you will know where to concentrate your marketing efforts.

Great, thank you. I will try and do that. I will add a question to the woocommerce section of my website.

You may try on CPA marketplace and contact with them to promote your offer in CPA network.

Great thank you! Do you or anyone else have any advice on trusted CPA market places?

I had been looking at Wowtrk and Clickbooth.

This may be a stupid question but is there a danger that Google sees traffic coming to your site from CPC or CPA ad blackhat and so marks you down?

Basically you won't risk since you only going to pay the users when you get a sale (check your pm i explain to you)
