Hey, interesting thread idea.
I can't put an exact number on it but I discovered, by pure accident, a niche in its infancy from a suggestion on youtube. I looked more into it and it was a pretty new idea in the market and it was really easy to make content/products around it. I was a brainless teenager at the time so of course, I didn't have the motivation to pursue the niche and try to make something happen out of it.
Now years later the niche has developed, people make money from it, content creators around it get millions of views, and when I finally tried to get into it it was a bit too late.
Moral of the story guys, never hesitate to try.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket is a lesson we all gotta learn.
Even if you're in one niche, start 2-3 sites targeting the same keywords (if you're into SEO) - That way if one sites get wrecked by updates you have some backups.Noted.

Touche Google is my new life slang.Had a site making $10k+ profit every month, it died due to PayPal banning my account + blacklisting my domain, got severely depressed for a while. After that, I built a new site and hit almost exactly the same amount again, and then a Google update came and cut it by 90% - But that time I couldn't do much more than laugh and say "Touché Google", and start 30 sites instead trying to at least triple what I made before

For every site of yours that get hit by a Google update - Start 3 new ones. That's my motto now.

Thanks man !
Absolutely. I made $100/day with a $200 investment in ranking the site, that includes content, domain, hosting and backlinks.
Another site cost me $500 to start + rank, and made me about $2,000-2,500 a week - With the info from this thread.
A crucial detail is of course to do proper keyword research first.

I agree on the fact that it's not pinned, it really should be.
I don't believe in, "it's too late" mentality, you can always outrank and do better even if you enter the market late. Google don't care who comes first or last, if you have better backlinks, you can rank better.
I won't call it a failure but I chose an affiliate site (clicksure.com) for movie offers promotion through parasites in 2018
I earned around $1000 in first month and they didn't pay me.
for first month, on skype they just delayed the payment saying the vendor hasn't paid the amount
then one of the employee said vendor has paid but the payment is processing.
But that employee who told me that left the company then the other one said payment never came.
They changed the name of company now it is called ADSU.
I wasted my time asking about payment for 4 months, but no use.
Then I left hope, it has been 2 years.
But no regrets, after that I left the affiliate work and got into SEO for local projects and now i am good.
