You show ads when users aren't using your app, for instance when they are using another app you show an interstitial or banner ad, its very famous, most blackhatters bank hard with this. Thats what most of the adware malwares in android do, alongside click fraud

I usually aim for high competition keywords. Oh and yeah apps are useful and polished(aso), they have 40-50% retention with HEAVY advertising.

I dont use any tools other than appbrain and play store. Thats a good niche too. But you will find more powerful ones if you look closer

Not hard to implement. Illegal cause it breaks google policy. Oh yeah, banned for sure if you get caught, dev account or ad account.

It said my app is ranked 163 in top casual free and it wasnt anywhere to be found in the top 500.

I use free version, the ranking is probably accurate.

I understand it because i know some java and have put some time into learning reversing codes. It requires patience/time. Yeah, this will make it much easier to get non-spam codes.

I am not sure why your accounts get banned, maybe its the source code. But you can pm me so we investigate


UPDATE: Second app is getting organics. Nothing much has changed. Slacking. And fighting with my girlfriend. Must get shit together

I think my facebook interstitials placement is just wrong

1.5m impressions with 1% ctr and just 700$ earned, i am showing too much ads. I must track which impressions get the clicks and remove the useless impressions. That would also help with ratings/installs. Plus this is safer than forced clicks. Although, forced click might have its own advantages, we will see.

Anyone recommend good tracking tool for user activity?

I just take an educated guess based on the progression

UPDATE: Just passed 400$ for the first time on .49 ecpm. But my banner ad is failing quality check. I think its cause i add it on top of recyclerview dynamically which makes accidental clicks. Facebook is tight on accidental clicks apparently

For blackhat apps, its mainly just about using the right keywords. Nothing else. I am sure there are tons of blackhat/illegal keywords out there, but they usually get blacklisted fast especially if they get suspended fast. And yeah updating frequently for blackhat apps is bad, but my app right now isnt exactly blackhat, it breaks policy but not visibly.

But i am still afraid of updating it until it passes 1m+ installs, lest it gets suspended prematurely. I have got many improvements in mind, including the FAN banner fix. A logo update, forced click, firebase tracking.. etC..

Yeah, pretty much, thats my plan and i have seen others do it in the wild, and it doesnt even matter if you release blackhat and it gets suspended. The account will still be warmed up.

I updated FAN after admob got suspended, admob has way better cpm

SMALL UPDATE:

Made 430$ yesterday @ 0.5$ ecpm. This is awesome with mainly just 1 app, we will see how it goes with 10 or more high quality and admob integrated apps.
