YouTube/Adsense payment question.

Hi BHW, just want to ask about youtube earnings. Our earnings in youtube is credited every 12 of the month right? just want to ask if the earnings on Jan.12 is the earnings from Dec. 13,2019 - Jan. 11,2020 or is it from Nov. 13,2019 - Dec. 12,2019?

I'm still new on youtube just got my first cash out and my earnings this last Jan.12 is not making some sense. I still don't understand/know how the earnings on youtube/adsense works.

The earnings you get for the 12th of every month are from the previous month so this month's payout will be for December 2019 so Dec. 1-Dec. 31, 2019. It only carries over from previous months if you didn't reach the $100 threshold to get paid.

Next month it will be for January 2020.

Yeah, this is a bit confusing for me too. Is it really the 12th or the 21st? Would love some clarifications on this

The OP was using an example date since yesterday was the 12th but they're made right around the 21st, it's not always on that exact date it could be earlier than that for some people and it can be later than that but you'll get paid around that time if you pass the $100 threshold either way.

Just to clear things up, Youtube sends your earnings to Adsense on 10-12th of the month and Adsense sends it to your bank account on 21st.

Adsense sends the money to your bank on 21st, give it a day or two and the money will show up in your bank account. That's what usually happens in my case. Unless 21 is in the weekend, then it could take up to 4 - 5 days to receive the money.

Thanks, I really appreciate your answer and that clears up how it actually goes when it's released to the bank so to clear it up for anybody the money isn't in the bank on the 21st it gets sent on the 21st.

For my situation, I'm still waiting on it to be sent or for it to reflect in my AdSense account, I have taken a screenshot on the money for this month and if you guys can please let me know how it's supposed to look when the money is being sent. Does it have the last payment updated when they've sent it or when it's in the bank account?

I just want to know because yesterday was a holiday on the 20th so maybe things are delayed by a day or two but I'll continue to monitor it. This is the first time I've had a payout directly from AdSense since 2013 since I've been dealing with MCNs since then in 2014 through last year when I stopped doing YouTube for a year. This is the first payout from November/December for me.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the $1065 earning will move to "Last payment" as soon as Adsense sends it to your bank and not when the money actually shows up in your bank account. Then your Balance will show $0.00 untill Youtube sends the earnings to Adsense again on 10 - 12th each month.

You also receive an email from Adsense when they send the money to your bank saying it may take up to 5 business days to show up in your bank account.

On 1/21/2020 you should get money for 2019-12-01 - 2019-12-31period.

I appreciate the information guys and you guys pretty much confirmed what I've thought all along that the money should've been paid out yesterday and reflected that on the account.

I left out something though and I believe my money has been frozen or is being held because I did have an account termination just this past weekend for having 3 strikes on that same account that I made the $1,065 on. My worst fear has come true on this that they're more than likely not going to be paying me at all. It's the 22nd so this is not a good sign I know they say it can be any day between the 21st-26th but I really don't think I'm gonna get paid, unfortunately.

I heard they refund the whole amount to the advertisers if they're holding it.

There's been a discussion in a thread similar to your situation and if I remember right, as long as the money was already sent to Adsense, you'll receive it. You'd only lose the revenue that the terminated channel would make before the 10th when YT sends the money to Adsense. So I'd say stay positive for a few days, there's still hope. But please keep us updated.

Yep you seem to be right because I've done further research since my last post here and I've gotten some interesting info from people who mentioned that when an account is terminated it has to be before the time that AdSense receives the money which is the 10th like you said, some people mentioned the 15th but I think that was before the 10th-12th dates were changed in the last year or two by AdSense since some of those answers came from 2016 and 2017. If an account is basically terminated after the 10th then you'd still get paid but if it happened before the 10th then you won't get paid and the money goes back to the advertisers. So I should be eligible for payout this month but no payment will be made in February and the months to follow that so I will close that AdSense accounts once the money hits my bank.

Yeah, I'm gonna remain positive as I had no knowledge about it goes with termination since mines came on the 18th I think I could be getting paid. I'm gonna wait until the 27th to see what happens so I'll definitely keep you guys posted hopefully this helps anybody who's in my situation in the future.
