Sudden Ranked Drop? Google Algo Update?

Its really beyond how they can have no clue whats going on. He could just ask or check what happened on 17th December and on 7th January. Is it so difficult? He could just ask: Did we make any changes on these dates? Or how did the algo behave? How did the crawler behave?

They must have all the data....and Google keeps their mouth shut. So many of my websites lost their rankings and only 20% or less pages of them are in the index. No manual penalty! Why?
because all these 150 IQ Google employee shitheads are more worrying about their fucking free dinners and comfy sofas at the workplace

Google be like:

As I can see, most websites that are hit are non-English ones, and it all does coincide with Google's announcement for rolling out BERT for non-English languages (in early December). What do you think? If BERT is AI, what if it's still in the learning stage and all these websites are the victims of a live experiment?

re BERT: Ok, BERT starts at zero then? Ok, you can do this but ... sounds weird to me. And BERT does not like European Mobile opimized pages and stops reading the sitemaps? o_O

The problem (for me) is not december, ok in december I lost 30-40% traffic in my websites, but I still had traffic and the websites was correctly indexed, the problem is that after 7 January the websites disappeared from the serp, webmaster is bugged and the posts isn't indexed. So, for me, the problem is in January, not in december.

I think their BERT and the new algo update have gone wrong somewhere. I think they are testing them on live sites. Using your real live sites for machine learning or something like that.

Yeah exactly the same story for me.

This honestly just makes me want to go back to making the shittiest, spammiest, blackhattest sites I can. If I can get fucked like this on a whitehat site, why put in the effort?
man, i have started doing this just yesterday. the shittiest hackiest crapiest site

Of course, something is wrong because I think is impossible that we got exactly the same bug in webmaster, at the same day and with the same index issue

Surely they'll never acknowledge it. :D

This is very demotivating.:weep:

Good news for me! For a few days, all my posts were deindexed after the happening on 16 December. I indexed them again with bulkaddurl.com, and I have gotten a few positions back. (Only for about 5-10% of my keywords, but it's an improvement.)

I honestly don't think it has something to do with BERT. because all of my sites are in english, in December they all got hit yes, and dropped 30-50%.. but after 14th January, they ...just...dissapeared.. one by one.. evein GSC inspect tools doesn't help.

same issues like everyone else..

Thanks for this!! I just tested it and indeed at least when I google my blog article title, it will show in Google and more URLs are indexed now. Awesome, hope this will fix it and is not only temporary!

Did you have all the issues we discussed here? (Mobile usability, sitemaps, only a few urls showing when searching with site:mysite.com parameter etc)

Thanks a lot for the idea. Just tried it on a page i was ranking #1 and that got desindexed. I just recovered my #1 with this page !

Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
