Instagram is getting ridiculous now, I drop ship shit products from ali express for side money and I do decent on Facebook. I was interested in selling my brand to in Instagram influencers so I dm'd about 40-60 meme pages with 1 million followers and up for promos. The majority of there pages were private so I dm'd them all first, and if I got a promotion message I would follow and check there page. Holy shit these pages have shit engagement. And to add insult to injury they charge insane rates for there 30,000 bot view pages. The obvious top tier meme pages don't take dm's only emails so I didn't bother with them.

I ended up lucky doing a 6 hour 50$ feed post deal with the link in bio with one of the pages. I pulled in 12 low ticket sales so I guess it wasn't a complete shit show. Make sure to do a lot of research and negotiating before dealing with these pages.

did you straightly went into the dm's without searching the account on socialblade(at least)?

I mass messaged any meme page above 1 million followers, I knew before hand 50% were going to be shit but damn near 90% of these Instagram meme pages were fake.

its pretty easy to spot the fake ones, take care my dude.
True, It was just crazy to see all these pages with multi million followers with no engagement. How does that even happen. And its usually 1 guy who runs 10 of them.

A general rule of thumb: You’ll get much more professional business conversations via email on Instagram rather than DM. I typically stay away from DMing large pages if I’m interested in doing deals with them.

Also, people have been saying Instagram is dead since 2017. It’s white noise to me at this point.

i myself own a couple of hundreds on other niches but i think those meme pages are made up from kids that forget their instagrams etc..

My bad, I should have made the title “meme pages are dead”. Actual real “people“ influencers in fitness and what not are legit. The thing is they charge A lot for there promos.

yeah but dropshipping to meme pages is hard, if your selling like fitness products its alot easier to have a fitness influencer get it test it and post a review id think

Make stupid mistake, go onto a forum(Any forum) and claim XYZ is ripeed, dead, past. End of the story!

Things change, people adjust and continue to make money.

Others don't and say it's dead.
