As the title says, I wanted to disconnect my Instagram account from my FB business page because I have lost access to the Instagram account (on login it gets flagged as suspicious login and the email address to receive the code is not accessible).

I have already tried to disconnect the account via the facebook page settings but whenever I try to press the button to disconnect on the mobile app or the browser it just does nothing.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get someone from FB support to fix this or is there another way to disconnect the accounts?

Are you sure the page did not get hacked? What do you mean the email account is not accessible?

Very unlikely any support will help you with this, they never do.

Login to FB on a computer and try to disconnect from there - many more options and settings compared to the mobile app.

In my experience typically you have to disconnect the Facebook page from within the Instagram app like you are trying to do. This might be somewhat of a security measure, I am not sure. But it happened to me once where I could not disconnect either until I logged into Instagram to do it.

The page did not get hacked, I would be able to login to disconnect the account but I was stupid enough to leave an old email in the Instagram account which they want to send me the code for my "suspicious login attempt" which I cant access. It's ridiculous that the disconnect function does not work in the Facebook App / Desktop Browser.

So find out how to get access to that account, or change the one that is in the account now to one you can control.
