Future AI = End of botting?

SM Bots are a form AI. If a person replies to a comment made by a bot then in theory this would constitute a "first point" pass on Turing test.
But the SM bot is not capable of reading the users reply and responding with a reply that "always" makes sense. You could create a program that could guess the answer correctly many times, but not always.
AI lacks one fundamental human trait that will never make it actually human level intelligent or cause it to wipe out the human race.. and that's "imagination".
You cannot perceive a threat unless you first imagine its consequences.

Let me share my opinion about it. I think it can,
1. As artificial intelligence evolves, so does his intelligence. Nowdays It won the best player in starcraft and go. In my opinion it will help us with routine work. Really I can't imagine the future with AI. Google about Moore's Law it grouth even faster then we think.

Moore's law has been dead for years.

There will be a big battle from both sides
but no one ever wins :D

If they use AI to stop the bots, Bots will use the same AI to overcome those ;) ( bots are already a form of AI )

AI is awful right now. Too many mistakes.
But when it gets smart enough, we will be already linked to it. It is called transhumanism. A singularity new Era.

This will be the end of the human race!
I am not even joking i swear to god!
There are 3 rules for robotics.

First Law
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws

That's a battle that never ends. Everything evolves in both sides, bot will become smarter as well and use AI.

Yeah but if they become selfaware who knows what happens. Their logic may bend the laws

That has noting to do with real life, its from a science fiction book.

I'm new to all this but am I missing something here? Or am I right in thinking botting to a certain extent does platform like IG anf FB a great service - these sites are all about popularity after all - followers, likes... it's about quantity rather than quality. If accounts and activity were halved after being culled by AI cause they were fake, then I would take a guess that overall popularity and power of these platforms would diminish too? And would stop some Chinese or Russian monstrosity from taking a dominant market position?

Dare I say, I think they may even rely on blackhatting to a considerable extent. For all we know, all the apparent action against blackhat communities might be for the sakes of maintaining PR among media and tech elites. Or if they think a company or individual might be getting a bit too big for their boots, like those guys from NZ a couple of months ago.

But honestly, whatever the case, they should probably be more concerned about video manipulation than anything.
T
Wo Which guys from NZ are you referring to?
