Hi, I am a newbie on social media traffic field. I have a shopify shop with one domain. I started my first journey with 10 pinterest accounts on November 24th. So far, I've pin 1500 images, but there's no traffic. I'd like to discuss my journey here and see if there are any mistakes.
My plan:Test with ten Pinterest accounts with USA profiles (start from November 24). If I find a effective method I will scale to 100 accounts soon.
1. VPS: Located in USA.
2. Tool: A bot that almost everyone here knows.
3. Accounts: I bought them. When I got them, they were blank except for the mailbox. I uploaded the avatars(have changed the MD5) and filled in the basic information manually. I started using them to pin 2 months later.
4. Proxies: 2 accounts per proxy. USA dedicated proxies.
5. Campaign: Pin 100 product images in each account every day. I have prepared 4000 different original pictures( made by myself) in one folder. These pictures are enough for one month in my plan. I set the campaign to take 100 images from the folder and each image will be sent to all accounts. I set the bot to make each pin unique.
6. Source URL: Each pin will direct to one collection of my shop. I haven't started using short links yet. Just copied the website address as the source url. (I'm confused about the LINK. I hope someone can guide me)
7. Time setting: Posting 100 times from 10:00AM to 9:00 PM each day. No action on Monday. The interval for each timer are 3-9 minutes. Wait around 60 seconds before publishing the same post list item on a new destination.
8. Other action: No. No repin/ follow/ unfollow or anything else. Just pin to my own boards.
9. Effect for now: No follower to my Pinterst accounts. No traffic to my website after pinning 1500 images.
I don't believe the social media platform will ban all business referrals. Or the business players will all leave, the Platform activity and content quality will be greatly reduced. If my journey doesn't work, there must be some mistakes. Please tell me or discuss here if you find them.
