{Tik Tok} Checklist for a Viral Video, Avoid Shadowbans, Algorythm

Hey, I just quickly want to give out a little Checklist you should always look at before starting a TikTok account which I got from testing out a lot of things with more than 20+ accounts now.


Checklist for a successful account:

Only one niche or a combined niche

Same hashtags and strong keywords for the description

Only one account per device



Checklist for a successful video which is most likely going to land on the for you page:

Strong hashtags

Strong keywords

verticality

Original content

Use music from the tiktok app

Edit your video in the tiktok app

Keep it short- 15 sec. is optimal

Make the beginning of your video really catchy - (most people on tiktok have the attention span of a donkey)




How to avoid shadow bans:

Never use more than one account per device

Never post more than 3 videos per day

Never buy views or likes (they are not really that important for the algorithm anyway)

Never repost a video without editing it on an external video editing app.

Never delete a video (rather hide them)


What are the most important factors for the algorithm to rank your video: (From most important to least)

1. Completion rate: How many people watched your video till the end
2. Re- view rate: How many people rewatched your video
3. Comment likes: Does your video have a comment which has a lot of likes?
4. Sharing rate: How often did your video get shared with other social media platforms
5. Comments: How many comments did you get
6. Views: How many views did you get
7. Likes: How many likes did your video get

What a great summary, thank you! I've been trying to get into TikTok for a while, but it just seems so out of place for me, most of the users being more than 10 years younger than me.

I'm glad we're seeing more and more TikTok strategies and just making the use of TikTok more compartmentalized and easier to understand.

Thanks for this. Started my account an hour ago and deleted a video I posted since it wasn't the optimal aspect ratio. Now I know to avoid that. Wonder why it causes shadow ban.

For the automation part, someone on MP social proved that it doesn’t hurt your engagement. He was using AutoTokker and still had videos go viral
