It's best to rank a GMB listing within a 3-5 mile radius, so multiple GMBS are necessary to cover a larger area.

I know you mentioned using proxies or VPS's for these GMB accounts. I've been browsing around and can't find anything suitable as I'm finding either 1) VPS's not available in the specific US cities I'm targeting or 2) residential proxies that are rotating.

Can you point me to the direction of a reputable service you'd recommend? Thanks!

You're not required to rent a VPS in the same city your GMB is located. If residential proxies are too expensive or problematic, you can always find a reasonable private proxy through Google.
