Journey to 2000$ a month on Youtube

Hey guys,

So I've finally decided to start my first journey on bhw.
I've been trying all types of different ways to make money online in the past two years and none of them really worked as I wanted them to. I've worked on dropshipping, affiliate, CPA, content locking, social media agency, etc.

This month I decided to give youtube a shot since I am a big fan of the platform and the thing I enjoy the most is watching and creating video content.

As much as I love digital marketing I figured that if I invested in something that I really enjoy then things could have a chance of really working out this time.


The plan:

The plan is simple, I've chosen a niche and created a channel and I will be posting 1 video per day.

I will be monetizing through Adsense at the beginning and maybe later through some channel merch or affiliate links to products related to the niche.

For now, Adsense is still off. I will be turning it on when I get to 10k views steady on all videos I upload.


Where am I at:

At this moment I'm just focusing on growing the channel.

So the channel was created on 16-09-2019, so 14 days ago.
I've created a whole new google account so I could start everything from scratch.
I have not bought any views, subscribers or likes/comments.


On 29-09-2019 I have:

- 10 videos
- 575 subscribers
- 26.4k views in total
- 68.1k watch time in minutes
- An average of 2.614,3‬ views per video
- An average of 10 comments per video
- An average of 13 likes per video

Note:
I'm having a hard time finding ways to promote my channel, tried Reddit but since I don't have accounts with good karma I couldn't do it for now. I also do not have any social media accounts with big followings so I can promote the videos. The only thing I have been doing is commenting on other people's videos related to the niche. (Not "subscribe to my channel" type comments, but normal and funny comments so people get the urge to click on my name and check my videos.



Do you guys know any good ways for me to grow my youtube channel? Any input will be appreciated.





Also please do not ask me what my niche is for obvious reasons :)

I have 10k karma almost on reddit maybe i can help a bit, let me know where and what i have to post if you want the help (make sure its not spammy so i dont get banned )
 
Best of luck! You could try purchasing Karma for your reddit account if thats stopping you from posting places.

Reddit can be a powerful tool for getting traffic. You could try buying upvotes for a post of one of your videos on reddit as well.
 
Nowadays to monetize with adsense you need 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 subscribers, but if you already have near 600 subs in only a couple of weeks you are doing great.
Being you, I would not search for growing methods, simply stay focused on the content, maybe looking for good titles and thumbnails. Anyway, good luck for your journey!

The thing is I never spent time on reddit so I really don't know how it works. (feel kinda stupid saying this) but at least I am honest. I am willing to spend some time learning it but honestly at this point I would just rather pay someone to advertise my videos on Reddit while I focus on the content. Thanks for the advice :)

Thanks for the advice man, the only thing I'm feeling is that I know I have good content (cause I have competitors with 5mil+ subs and my videos are better than theirs) but not enough people are watching them to make them go viral you know? I mean, the few that watch it love it, I know that. but I am not being able to grow the audience.
 
Good luck, if you can spend a little make video ad on YouTube targeted to get you subscribers.
 
If you are willing to pay someone to promote your videos on reddit why not just invest in YouTube ads? I've heard they are not that expensive.
 
kindly, is it possible for you to tell if you are promoting blackhat or whitehat? i mean like hack stuffs and all? (if you cant answer its alright :) )

Sorry man but I did not fully understood your question, are you asking about the way I am promoting my channel?

If you're asking about my content then it's completely whitehat. If you're asking if I am using blackhat practices to promote my channel then yes, I am using both black and whitehat practices to do that :)
