Depends on the niche. You can do keyword research, you can follow upcoming releases in some niches and be the first to discuss them. You can find old content (that is still relevant) in bad quality and give it a makeover in 2019 standard, and add even more value to the video. Let us know more about your channel idea, youtube is a very diverse platform. I know of insanely good content creators that get 20k views per video, and of course I know more than many awful ones with millions.
