How Do I improve my AdSense CPC?

Hello guys,
I am in a big mess with AdSense. Yesterday, I had up to 100 clicks on AdSense but the earning was just £4.20. As if this was not enough, today so far, I have gotten more than 60 clicks and the earning I am seeing there is just £1.96. Like WTF!!!!!

How do I increase this?

What is your traffic source? + Check the countries your traffic is coming from.

I get the most clicks on the matched content unit but the CPC is horrible for them. Are you getting clicks on regular banners ad or the new native ads? If it's the native ads then the low CPC is quite normal.

The link in your profile leads to a tech site targeting Nigeria. Don't expect any good-paying advertisers. Focus on content targeting first world countries.

What do you mean - native ads then the low CPC is quite normal? So it is better not to use native ads?

Content is king and cpc is usually related to your niche and audience. You have to look at it from an advertiser perspective, who would pay more to get leads?

Majority is from Nigeria, followed by usa

Yes. It is targeted at Nigerians. That is for traffic. If I say let me target USA or UK, I will end up getting shit traffic. In fact, my traffic rose from 200pageviews per day to 8000/pay within 3 months because I retargeted my contents.
Just hope there is a way to improve the cpc

Basically think what advertisers you are targeting and what their budgets might be. Or just take a look on the ads you see on your site, but don’t click hehe.

Point is, that your content needs to have value and be somewhat related to wealthy businesses who would want to pay top dollar for your traffic. If your content is related to teenagers, free stuff etc that wont pay well in ads.

60 clicks was at the time of creating this thread. At the end of yesterday, I ended up getting 122 click on 7000 pageviews. Guess the earning? 3 fvckin pounds. Too bad

Hmmm! I basically review phones, ain't it suppose to pay well? And come to think of it, they said traffic from search engines pay well, but 85% of my traffic is from search engines and yet I earn shit pounds

There you have it, mix that with PPC and you get pennies on the dollar. You would be better of with an affiliate set up with some stores and receive commisions on sales

gee 60 clicks is not bad I can't even get near 10 clicks

You can change network or try to optimize, ban all bad ( low paying) ads in adsense.
You can optimize ads and ad places.
But you need tier1 traffic.
I also have page with bad traffic:
118 clicks yesterday and only 5 eur.

And there can be 3 eur per day or there can be 13 eur

You can try, it depends on your site.
As for me, I always found many low-quality ads for weight loss, etc linking to phishy domains with autogenerated text.
So I ban them all time to time.
