There are a lot of impressions on keywords I'd never even think would have these kind of numbers? I used Ubersuggest and just wrote tons of keywords..All the keywords lead to basically the same outcome but should I decrease the number of keywords that probably won't bring conversions?
Sorry for making so many threads in a day, I'm new to this and I don't want to fuck up..

Yes definitely. IF you thing people looking for particular search term are not going to buy your product or service why to waste your clicks on those keywords.

Thanks. This answer completely approved my theory.

If your content is filled with keywords it's better to decrease the number and simplify it . But if you have added only required number of keywords and not too much them . then just stick to them.and make no change. If you are paying for keywords then eliminate the keywords that are not bringing conversions

You Should focus on finding a winning keyword. You need to find what keywords could bring a sale and stick to them untill you make some profits. If you have more keywords, you budget could be wasted on non convertig keywords. You can do a competitor analysis to check on your winning keywords.

But at the days where I turned off the useless keywords, I didn't have any impressions, barely any clicks and listens on my website were down, so I decided to turn on all of the keywords that are necessary. For an instance, I sell beats online and here are some of the keywords;
- rap beats 588 impr 28 clicks
- trap beats 347 impr 10 clicks
- buy beats 138 impr 9 clicks

As you would figured out I would want as many keywords with buy or purchase in the phrase so my ads will hit targeted audience, but as I said I only left on phrases with buy/purchase/lease in them and I had a significant drop in clicks and site visits. Later I found out google ads team add their own keywords so I have to check daily if I'm on the right path.

What would happen if I would keep only keywords with buy/purchase/lease active (meaning that ads will show to people who only search for buy rap beat instead of rap beat search this)

I would have to do a comparisson in excel which keywords got amount of impressions and clicks. From the look of my eye, theres almost the same amount of clicks with let's say "Buy" keyword, but there are way less impressions.. I am completely new to this, it's my first time runninng an ad lol

I structure my campaigns by type and location.

-search: Phoenix
-search: Chandler
-Retargeting pricing: Chandler
-Display: Phoenix

Then my ad groups are all skags:
-"service"
-[service]
-+service

I have 3 major negative keyword lists:
-basic
-competition
-multi-intent keywords ie: "painted house" vs "house painter near me" one wants to see photos, the other wants to spend money.

Then I have individual landing pages for each ad group.

I also have dramatically different offers for different campaign types.

Thanks guys! Next time I'll choose the classic campaign and not the smart one. I bascially didn't even know what I was doing until a week in. lol
