Can you elaborate more on the upvoting system? Would there be a decent incentive to code up a vote bot?

The result of the voting system is not in real time, you wait for a few hours for the votes to take effect. While you upvote your solution you also downvote other people's solution, that's how this thing is played. It looks like many people there are using bots for the voting.

I don't see this has been shared here before. Especially the strategy to rank the pages on Google. Not just upvoting the shit out of it.

Besides, the submit buttons for solutions and questions are removed on the site for the time being. The only way to get in is via email.

This is old and I am no longer using it. The reason why the submit button is no longer there is because people have been spamming it to death. A few months ago you can submit any spammy solution and it will appear under the question within 24 hours. It was easy to rank questions in Google, you just make the question and it will rank even without backlinks but now it looks like Google is no longer favoring Softonic solutions. I was using it in a very saturated niche.

That's not entirely correct. Google still favoring them. There are plenty of unsaturated niches you can rank for. You just need to make it work. Letting them without backlinks won't get you anywhere.
