I sold an asset on flippa, the buyer sent me an agreement to sign with a weird change in it:
Original flippa agreement states:
6.1. The Buyer must pay the Purchase Price to the Seller as directed by the Seller, on Completion.
6.2. The Buyer must pay the Purchase Price to the Seller, as follows:
The agreement he sent me states:
6.1. The Buyer must pay the Purchase Price to the Buyer as directed by the Seller, on Completion.
6.2. The Buyer must pay the Purchase Price to the Buyer, as follows:
He already deposited money to flippa escrow. I will ask him to change the agreement. I hope he is not trying to scam me. The buyer is a new but registered 7 years ago and 0 transactions completed. Still, he deposited the money to the escrow.
Did anyone here have experience with this? How can I protect myself?
He set completion date on 15th September, what if I'm late with delivery and he disputes for that reason, will flippa escrow be on my side?
I want to prepare for all scenarios here, hope you guys have some advice.
