Shadowbanned after blocked post

Heys guys,

2 days ago one of my memes on my meme page got blocked for "Violence or dangerous organizations". The meme got blocked by Instagram. The meme wasn't even offensive, just random people thinking it was funny to report it. I noticed a huge drop in engagement after this. After that I saw that I got 0 people from hashtags, normally 98% of likes came from hashtags... What do I do now? I am currently private.

When i realized i was blocked trying to follow/unfollow/like/post i got this pop up message saying I’m action blocked and that it won’t expire until the 1st. If you didn’t get a date then u should b unblocked 24-48 hours. The pop up message popped up soon as i tried to do those things.

Yeah okay but i'm not action blocked. I am shadowbanned and my problem is is that my posts don't show up in any hashtags even one with like 100 posts in it. Do you know anything about this?

log out of the account so you will be inactive
come back in 35 days and you should be good

Well obviously u blocked. Your engagement is gonna b down , you’re not gonna show up in search or hashtags. You’re banned from all that until they lift it. Let ur acct rest for 24-48 hours and see if they lift it. I was shadow banned twice on twitter so i know. Instagram do the same thing

Only problem is after a shadowban. Your account won’t be the same. You will see you are limited in certain hashtags long term.

You will see a permanent drop in engagement. Be ready. I speak from personal experience even after shadowban is lifted the impact is permanent.

That never happened to mine. After it got lifted it was back to normal, sometimes my engagement would do better than usual

Speaking from experience. My latest post isn’t in a particular hashtag. It’s very upsetting!

I had a 4 week shadowban. The 48 hours is incorrect. Maybe for a small personal account it is 48 hours. The bigger the account the bigger the threat....

Alright thanks for the info, it has almost been a week since the shadowban. How do I know when it's lifted? Should i try to post like tomorrow with random ass hashtags or in like another week or so
