YouTube 100K - Any magic when you hit Silver?

We're 6K and about 2-3 months away from hitting YouTube Silver based on our current growth rate (see Social Blade chart below).

Has anyone hit 100K subs (YouTube Silver) and saw the follower growth rate pick up after that or anything else special happen...fireworks, more dates with attractive women, anything?

I known that some people have sawed their Silver awards in half and grown to 1M subs because once they posted a video of it, but I'm curious what you guys have experienced or heard about.

One thing I can tell you for sure (at least that's what most people say): The silver button will come too late

Keep in mind that they are very picky when it comes to the silver reward. You should not get any notification until you hit like 200 or 300k subs because they are that slow with processing it. Major problem is that they are not giving out the playbutton to people that sorta break the advertising rules.

I'm at 3oo K right now but probably will never get the play button.

As far as growth is, no, there is no special treatment for you once you hit 100k subs. You can however get your checkmark on YouTube which gives your channel some sort of authority.

If you ever get your silver play button you can hang a chain around it and walk around town. You might be getting some woman.

This is a legitimate business account, so I don't see why they won't issue the award. Nevertheless, I'm glad that wearing it around the neck can attract the opposite sex

Im at 110k and never got the silver button offered. Maybe it'll take some time. But a few of my videos are questionable at best so I don't know if i'll get one. Lets hope for it though!
